* Remove 2 unused globals
* (bug 17488) Link in toolbar to feeds should be localized (already have the feed-$format messages) Patch by Marcin Cieślak.
* Tangentially, can $wgFeedClasses be moved from Defines to DefaultSettings? Seems to make more sense in the latter.

e1ee80f99e (bug 16459) Use native getElementsByClassName 
Patch by Derk-Jan Hartman.  Seems not to break table sorting in Firefox
3, and he's tested it in other browsers, including IE6.  (Of course it
falls back to ordinary JS if the native version is unavailable.)

d8119bd420 Revert r41710, r41978, r42012, r42048 (integration of Poem extension to core plus misc. fixes). Per Wikitech-l, this isn't properly attributed to the original authors of the extension. Furthermore, "Poem" is entirely too narrow a name for the functionality this tag provides. If this is to be integrated, a better name should be chosen. 2008-11-15 01:19:46 +00:00

08e561abb9 (bug 8440) Allow preventing blocked users from editing their talk pages 
* Adds database field to ipblocks table, ipb_allow_usertalk, storing whether or not the user can edit their own talk page. Defaults to 0 to coincide with the default value of $wgBlockAllowsUTEdit.
* Recommended to update all current blocks to have a allow_usertalk value of whatever the current setting is
* Retasks $wgBlockAllowsUTEdit to be the default value of the field in the blocking screen - unless a sysop changes the checkbox, will use whatever that variable is set to.

b23c8cf10f (bug 15399) Disable odd/even classes for sortable tables 
These might or might not be useful, but if they are useful they should be added in PHP, not JavaScript.  There have been reports of significant slowness for large tables due to the row numbering.  This also fixes a bug where setting ts_alternate_row_colors = false would only work until the user tried sorting the table.

2cab477f44 * (bug 14165, bug 14294) Wikimedia specific configuration in convertGrammar() for 13 localisations (be, be-tarask, bs, cs, dsb, ga, gsw, hsb, hu, lv, rmy, sk, sl) removed. The settings have been put in extension WikimediaMessages. For be, be-tarask, bs, dsb, hsb some duplicates (1=1) were removed. Patch for Czech by Danny B. 
* Also put the wgGrammarForms from the Wikimedia configuration in here, so everything is in one place. Bonus with this setup is that there will be a little less work for Wikimedia shell operators, as the wgGrammarForms configuration is now accessible to i18n committers.
* Header for WikimediaMessages.php, and add myself to extension credits.

WARNING to Wikimedia shell operators: the whole section "wgGrammarForms" in InitialiseSettings.php.html should be remove after updating to this version. It will most probably overrule all settings in WikimediaMessages because of "'default' => array()"

8f821b6549 (bug 6387) Introduced new setting $wgCategoryPrefixedDefaultSortkey which 
allows having the unprefixed page title as the default category sortkey.

Although creating sane defaults should always be preferred over introducing
new config options, we cannot just remove the old behaviour here, as some
peoply might still rely on it. However, the sortkey {{PAGENAME}} is already
widely used for circumventing the current behaviour.
